OneGarnet Mine Location

OneGarnet specializes in the mining, processing, and sales of industrial garnet abrasives. OneGarnet mine and processing plant are located in Donghai County, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, China. The location is 85 km away from Lianyungang International Port. OneGarnet mine covers an area of 2 square kilometers. It's an open-pit mine.

Mine Reserves

OneGarnet mine has determined OneGarnet™ reserves of over 140 million tonnes and JadeCut® reserves of 60 million tonnes from 4 to 200 meters below surface. The China Continental Scientific Drilling (CCSD), the deepest drilling in Asia, is located on site. CCSD revealed that the reserves of the mine body at depths of 200 to 1600 meters underground are several times that of 4 to 200 meters.

OneGarnet™ Characteristics

OneGarnet™ and JadeCut® originated at a depth of 160km, at 2.8GPa pressure and 700~890°C environment, producing an high quality Almandine garnet that is rich in Fe2O3 and Al2O3, and hence harder and tougher grains with a deep red colour when compared to alluvial garnet.

About The Processing Plant

OneGarnet™ processing plant will be completed and operating by 2024. Annual production will initially commence at 700,000 tonnes per annum of OneGarnet and 300,000 tonnes per annum of JadeCut, and to adjust with market demand, it will gradually increase to 2.8 million tonnes per annum of OneGarnet and 1.3 million tonnes per annum of JadeCut.

JadeCut

JadeCut® is a dark green and red 'Garnet blend' of hard rock natural minerals with superior hardness and density.
